About The Wildlife Sanctuary:
Enveloped in greenery and beauty, the Kamlang Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a part of Kamlang Reserved Forests which was later declared a wildlife sanctuary. It presents a rich variety of wildlife. Tiger, hoolock gibbon, leopard, capped langur, red panda and many more wildlife species can be spotted in the sanctuary. The floral variety is equally rich and the vegetation consists of some rare species which can be spotted only in Arunachal Pradesh.
How To Reach:
Air:
Dibrugarh is the nearest airport which is connected by regular flights with New Delhi and Kolkata. Regular Pawan Helicopter Service connects Itanagar with Tezu and Namsai. So reaching the sanctuary is not a problem.
Rail:
Tinsukia(Assam) is the nearest railway station which is 135 km from Tezu(Arunachal Pradesh). Once you reach Tezu, you can take a bus or taxi to easily reach the sanctuary.
Road:
Regular bus service from Tezu(Arunachal Pradesh)and Tinsukia (Assam) make the sanctuary easily accessible.
