Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary
Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary at Bhalukpong in Arunachal Pradesh covers an area of 862 square kilometers. While in the sanctuary you can catch a glimpse of the Bengal tiger or the hornbill. The sanctuary also houses some endangered species of birds. Thick forest cover dominates the landscape of the sanctuary. Other animals and birds namely elephants, sambhar, leopard and peacock pheasant can also be seen in this sanctuary.


Tipi Orchidarium
The Tipi Orchidarium lies in the west Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. The Orchidarium shelters over 500 different varieties of orchids. New hybrid varieties of orchids are created by the scientists in the Orchid research centre. This place is also an ideal spot for adventure enthusiasts as well. Rafters and anglers will be truly delighted.


Kaziranga National Park
Towards the southeast of Bhalukpong lies the Kaziranga National Park. UNESCO has recognized the Kaziranga National Park as a world heritage site. Hordes of tourists from across the globe visit the Kaziranga National Park every year. One horned rhinos are the major attraction of the Kaziranga National Park.
