Arunachal Pradesh Monasteries

The largest state of northeast, Arunachal Pradesh is an abode of some really significant Buddhist monasteries. A visit to them is high on the list of any Buddhist tourist to the state. The most significant of these monasteries are Tawang Monastery, Bomdila Monastery and Urgelling Monastery. The monasteries are a prime center for Buddhist cultural studies. Here young monks are given lessons on various subjects. Also they are taught the traditional Buddhist education.
