Maram Khulen: It is an ancient village in the district. This beautiful village is of sheer importance to anthropologist and research scholars.


Yangkhullen: Enveloped in primitive culture, Yangkhullen is the largest Zemei village in the district.


Mao: Sharing its border with Nagaland, Mao is a mesmerizing and one of the oldest hill stations of Manipur. Located in this hill station is the Mao Inspection Bungalow which was built by the Royal Military Engineers in 1897. Also enjoy the Mao Naga dance which is an important part of Manipuri culture.


Makkhel: Holding immense historic importance, Makhel is the place of Naga breakup and the land of common origin of the Meiteis and Nagas.


Dzukou valley: It comes alive with beautiful flowers such as a rare lily from May to July.


Mount Isu: It is the highest peak in the area.

Air: The nearest airport is Imphal which is connected to Guwahati, Delhi and Kolkata.
Rail: Dimapur is the nearest railway station.
Road: Imphal is connected with Dimapur and Silchar by road.
