Occupying a prized place in the north eastern state of Tripura, Agartala is located in close proximity to Bangaladesh, just 2 km away. Air: Regular flights from Agartala connect it with Guwahati, Calcutta and Delhi.
Rail: Trains from Kumarghat railwaystation and Dharama Nagar connect the city with Lumding and Guwahati. They in turn are connected with other main cities of India.
Road: Good bus services connect Agartala with the main cities such as Guwahati, Shillong, Silchar and Dharmanagar.
