Champai:
Champai town is a great place for embarking on trekking. Holding commercial value, this town is located 192 km from Aizwal. The hills surrounding the town are picturesque. Another interesting attraction located nearby is a traditional village named Ruantlang where rich culture of Mizoram can be seen.

Phawangpui:
Popularly known as the blue mountains, Phawangpui is the highest peak in Mizoram. It is located at an altitude of 7,000 feet and offers mesmerizing views of the city. Its landscape is dotted with beautiful trees and flowers. This place is a big hit with mountaineers.

Lunglei Town:
Surcharged with natural beauty and salubrious climate, Lunglei town is a wonderful hill station. Located near it is a beautiful lake adding more charm to it.

Phawngpui National Park:
Located at an altitude of 2,157 m above sea level, the Phawngpui National Park is gifted with rich biodiversity. Here you can sight tiger, sambhar deer, hoolog gibbon, barking deer, bear and many birds.

You need to take permit from Indian Mountaineering Federation if you wish to climb the peaks having an altitude more than 6000 m.
