Its rich heritage clearly reflects in its ancient relics, magnificent monuments and memorials. Move towards the lower region of the town and you will come face to face with the admirable Champhai valley. It boasts about fruit plantations, especially Kiwi plantations. It is popularly known as the 'rice bowl of Mizoram' as it has abundant rice fields.
